Just the good stuff

TIGER Woods' wife Elin Nordegren wants a divorce, sole custody and half his estimated ($671 million) fortune, according to a newspaper report.
The superstar golfer has also reportedly reneged on a promise he made to his wife to go into rehabilitation to wean himself off the prescription drugs Ambien and Vicodin.
A close friend of Ms Nordegren told the News of the World: "Tiger was supposed to be working on getting better and he hasn't done anything. Instead he just went to stay with a friend and says he's 'trying to get better on his own'.
"Elin is livid he hasn't checked into rehab and gotten himself off his drugs. He's acting like a big baby," the source said.
"Now she wants 100 per cent divorce, 100 percent custody of the children and half of everything. And she won't be changing her mind."
Ms Nordegren is reported to have engaged the services of renowned Californian divorce lawyer Sorrell Trope, who represented Britney Spears in her court battles with Kevin Federline.
Woods has vowed to quit golf for at least the next 12 months, according to the newspaper, with the devastated star telling aides he feels "helpless" and is "not in control" of his life.
The aides also say the star is fighting deep-seated "personal issues", including his use of pain medication like Vicodin and sleeping tablets Ambien.
A source told News of the World: "Tiger is a broken man, on the edge and unable to come to terms with what's happening in his life.
"He has made it clear that he doesn't want to do anything on the golf course in the next year.
"He has realised that his golf tour life has become a no-holds-barred non-stop party. But he reckons things will blow over."
The pair's children, Sam, two, and 10-month-old Charlie will be Ms Nordegren's top priority.
"She's like a mama bear protecting her young," said the source.
"She's prepared to give him visitation - but she wants the visits to be monitored.
"This may seem a little extreme but it shows her anger. Elin firmly believes she'll win custody as well as half everything Tiger has. He's in for a fight."
According to the friend, the Swedish former model isn't even bothered whether Woods, 33, is still in contact with his mistresses.
"She couldn't give a hoot," said the friend. "She couldn't care less if he wants to ruin his life some more. 'Let him see them if he wants' is her attitude.
"Tiger is his own worst enemy because at the start, Elin was sympathetic towards him. He was so physically and emotionally ill, she was thinking of giving him a second chance. But Tiger's refusal to go into therapy is the last straw."
Before taking her two children with her to her native Sweden for the holidays – without husband (and father of the kids) Tiger Woods – Elin Nordegren reportedly is consulting with veteran Hollywood divorce attorney Sorrell Trope.
Having practiced since 1949 and representing everyone from the much-married screen legend Cary Grant, as well as Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage, Hugh Grant and Britney Spears, Trope has built a reputation as a hard-nosed negotiator, reports New York's Daily News.
Speaking to the newspaper, Manhattan divorce lawyer Robert Wallack called Trope, 82, "the dean of the California matrimonial bar," while Beverly Hills-based family law arbitrator Alexandra Leichter said, "He's in a class of maybe 12 or 15 lawyers that handles very high-asset, high-income divorces with contentious custody cases."
Trope did not return calls seeking comment on his alleged involvement in the Woods-Nordegren marriage, which has come under the scrutiny since it was revealed (and later confirmed by Woods himself) that the world's No. 1 golfer has committed a series of sexual transgressions. Photos circulated this week, showing Nordegren, 29, pumping gas into her vehicle near the couple's home in Windermere, Fla., last Saturday, also captured the Swedish-born former nanny and mother of two (Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10 months), not wearing her wedding ring – fueling speculation of where the marriage was headed, though a source told PEOPLE the absence of the band "meant nothing." Still, another source told PEOPLE about Nordegren, 29, "She plans to leave Tiger."
Tiger Woods' wife Elin Nordegren has already moved out of the marital home they once shared and is dealing with the aftermath of his cheating scandal, but according to a close pal, she's doing "the best she can." Elin's pal Lindsay Davenport talked to ET to set the record straight about the stories of Elin allegedly beating Tiger. "Certainly she did not go after [Woods] physically and go after him with a golf club. That is not what happened," three-time Grand Slam tennis chap Lindsay Davenport tells Entertainment Tonight. "She's incredibly hurt by what has gone on, but she handles herself with class, and she's working it out as best she can." "I don't think Elin particularly cares what people think about her," she says. "The illusion and the identity out there about her is not her. Although she is having a tough time, she's really trying to get through it for the kids. What people are saying about her is not what happened." We're hoping for Elin's sake she hasn't turned on the television set or gone near a computer or newsstand because the details of Tiger's alleged mistresses aren't pretty! But apparently divorce isn't an option yet. "Nobody wants to go through divorce, especially when there's young children involved," Davenport says. "Her priority [is] her children Sam and Charlie. She's obviously protecting them from the media. Everyone's wish when you get married is to make it work and we'll see if they're able to do that." Dealing with a public scandal is never easy, but at this point Elin is just trying to stay strong for the sake of her children. We wish her the best during this difficult time.
This is likely to be a chilly Christmas in the Woods' home this year, in more ways than one! Mrs. Woods is receiving some early gifts, too, it appears, if media reports are valid. Here are a few items I feel certain will not make it on Tiger's gift list for his beloved this year.
